今日はツールドフランス2009の動画最終特集をお届けします。
いやあ～今年のツールドフランスは本当に素晴らしかったですね～。
今日は世界中から今年のツールドフランスの総集編を集めました。
ツール・ド・フランス2009は7月26日に最終日を迎えました。スペインのアルベルト・コンタドール選手（26＝アスタナ）が2年ぶり2度目の総合優勝を達成しました。総合2位はルクセンブルクのアンディ・シュレック選手（24＝サクソバンク）でした。
大会7連覇の実績を持ち、3年半ぶりに現役復帰した米国のランス・アームストロング選手（37＝アスタナ）は総合3位の大功績を作りあげました。
スキル・シマノの別府史之選手（26）は総合112位、Bboxブイグテレコムの新城幸也選手（24）は129位で、日本勢として初めての完走を果たしました。
第21ステージの優勝は英国のマーク・カベンディッシュ選手（24＝チームコロンビア）で今大会6勝目、大会通算10勝目。
【別府史之がシャンゼリゼで敢闘賞の赤ゼッケンを獲得しました】
ツール・ド・フランス第21ステージでスキル・シマノの別府史之選手（26）が敢闘賞を受賞しましたた。パリ・シャンゼリゼの特設サーキットで、8周のうち7周を先頭集団で激走。大観衆の声援を受けたが、残り半周でゴール勝負に持ち込みたいチームの追撃を受けて吸収されたそうです。
敢闘賞は、ステージごとに果敢な走りをした選手の栄誉を讃えるもので、レース終了後の表彰式には登壇します。しかし最終日は23日間を通しての総合的な敢闘賞を表彰することになっていまして、別府選手がツール・ド・フランスの表彰台に上ることはできませんでした。それでもシャンゼリゼの石畳の上で、赤いゼッケンをモチーフにした楯を受けりその栄誉を称えられました。
別府選手のコメントです。
「ついにシャンゼリゼにたどり着くことができました。長いようで短い3週間でした」
「小さいころから憧れていた舞台で、いまある力をすべて出し切ることができ、大変満足しています。そして今回の大会を通じて、日本人の可能性を新城選手とともに見せられたことはもう一つの成果でした。今後、さらに自分自身を高め、また今回のような報告ができるよう精進したいと思います」
どこまでも彼は立派なスポーツ選手の一人です。

But as I wrote in the comment, the majority of the audience did NOT express against him. (I don't know if they were pro or anti Armstrong, though. I would say more than half were "PRO"Armstrong.)
