今日はインディ・ファンが待ちに待ったインディジャパン開幕の様子をお届けします。
■ファン８０００人をしっかり魅了■
「ツインリンクもてぎ（ＴＲＭ）」で１８日開幕した「ブリヂストン・インディジャパン３００マイル」
（読売新聞社など後援）は、予選と公式練習が行われ、約８０００人のファンがレースを観戦しました。
予選は午後に行われ、全２３台のインディカーが１周２・４キロのオーバル（楕円(だえん)）コース
を４周走って平均タイムを計測した。
この日のトップはシリーズ通算成績３位のスコット・ディクソン（ニュージーランド）で、
決勝のポールポジションを獲得しました。
参戦２年目の武藤英紀はクラッシュして記録なしとなり、決勝は２２番手からスタートします。
【インディカーシリーズとは？豆知識】
インディカーシリーズは全１７戦を争い、
第１６戦の今回のＴＲＭは総合優勝の行方を占う重要なレースとなる。
ここまで１位のライアン・ブリスコー（豪）や、昨年のＴＲＭ優勝の女性レーサー、
ダニカ・パトリック（米）らの走りに注目が集まる。

Danica Patrick - ( Tokyo Drift Keep on Moving)

もてぎにインディジャパンを観戦に行きましたが、メインスタンド前を通過する速度が速すぎて、車の影しか見えませんでした。大きな音と排気ガスのにおいが印象的でした。
